SOFF Sports grew from more than a decade of direct indoor sports-facility operating experience, and from relationships with thousands of players, teams, organizers and community members.
Where this came from
We ran the facilities first.
Before SOFF Sports was an ecosystem, it was an indoor cricket business — booking lanes, chasing no-shows, filling Tuesday afternoons, fixing nets, answering the phone and learning what players actually need rather than what a product roadmap assumes.
That experience produced a long list of problems that everybody in the industry recognises, and that everybody treats separately.
What we kept seeing
The same problems, in every direction.
Players could not find places to play
Not because facilities did not exist, but because finding, comparing and booking them was a chore nobody wanted to repeat.
Facilities sat empty at the wrong hours
Peak hours sold out and daytime hours went unused — the same capacity, worth nothing at the wrong time.
Opportunities never reached people
Camps, leagues, clinics and events that would have filled, if the people who wanted them had ever heard about them.
Games fell apart before they started
Interest existed. Coordination did not. A booking without people is not a game.
Facility operators were on their own
Marketing, programming, maintenance, customer relationships — all of it, usually with no support and no time.
Nothing connected any of it
Every player, every facility and every program solving the same problems separately, over and over.
What if we stopped treating these problems separately and instead built a stronger sports ecosystem?
That question is the origin of SOFF Sports. Not a booking app with more features — a connected ecosystem where players, facilities, programs and opportunities reach each other through one relationship.

SOFF Sports is designed to connect players, facilities, coaches, clubs, leagues, businesses, event organizers and community partners — Canada-wide, starting with the Greater Toronto Area, Hamilton, Waterloo Region and Ottawa.

Every decision, initiative, partnership and investment should strive to leave the sports ecosystem stronger than we found it.
Stewardship
SOFF believes each generation of leaders and participants should leave the ecosystem stronger for those who come next. Facilities, clubs, leagues and communities are inherited from people who built them, and handed to people who will need them.
Sport as a Force for Good
Sport can improve health, develop character, strengthen friendships, build communities, create opportunities and contribute to a more peaceful and connected society. That is worth organizing around.
