Community Standards
Sport works when people can trust the room. These are the expectations we hold across SOFF Sports facilities, programs and Community Pulse.
The full standards are being finalized
The complete Community Standards, including how reports are handled and what happens when standards are breached, are being finalized and will be published here in full.
The conduct expectations below already apply — they come from the Customer Terms of Use, which is binding today.
What we expect
The basics, in plain language.
Respect the people around you
- Treat other players, facility staff and facility customers with respect
- No harassment, discrimination, intimidation or abusive behaviour
- No threatening, violent or unsafe conduct
- Respect that facilities serve people beyond the SOFF community
Respect the facility
- Follow each facility's rules, waivers and safety requirements
- Use equipment and playing surfaces as intended
- Leave the space ready for whoever plays next
- Follow staff instructions on site — they are responsible for that space
Respect the shared capacity
- Cancel sessions you cannot attend, so the space goes to someone else
- Do not hold sessions you have no intention of using
- Keep Community Pulse honest — signal the intent you actually have
- Do not use another member's account, and do not share yours
Community Pulse specifically
Community Pulse only works if what people share is real. A Play Intent is a genuine signal about whether you are considering, likely, or planning to attend — not a placeholder and not a way to make a session look busier than it is.
Privacy controls let members participate in aggregate only, or display limited voluntary identity. Respect whatever level another member has chosen.
Reporting a problem
If something happens at a facility that needs immediate attention, speak to facility staff first — they are responsible for that space. To raise something with SOFF Sports, call us or use the contact form and we will route it to the right person.
